The need of a Community Dinner
May be greater then you might think in the Pocono area. So many families are in need of help. You don’t have to look far. The Bushkill Outreach in Bushkill is an all volunteer nonprofit organization. They help families through the distribution of donations like food, clothing and household items. In 2004 the Outreach assisted several thousand people with food and basic clothing, as well asnecessary household items and furnishings.The supplementary food offered throughout the year represented 8700 meals. The need is great in the Pocono area for programs that help assist those who are in need, in our community. The Sunday Dinner helps serve those people who are in need in our community. We expect to serve over 1500 meals in 2005.
A place were you can meet.
This is a multi purpose ministry. Not only for those in need, but everyone in the community. It’s a great place to together with other people. Now you can come and have a good time without worrying how much it’s going to cost. It’s Free! This is a great place to have your group, organization, ministry or friends meet and have dinner. No one needs to cook Sunday dinners. We are here 52 Sundays a year.
The Community Dinner allows people to serve God.
If you’re looking to serve God with your youth group, bible study group, boy scout or girl scout group, or 4-H club or any other group, then this is it! Whether with you serve with a group or as an individual you well have a great time.
